Founded by parents (Michelle and Aaron) who raised two sons on the autism spectrum, Blue Candle exists to provide as much independence and responsibility as possible to people transitioning into adult life. A safe and affordable place to live, outside of institutions, with customized schedules, goals and support levels we view as a foundation for independent living. Having raised two sons on the spectrum, we have the contacts and resources to also assist with further education, life skills and job training/placement through other organizations we work with. For many years now Michelle has been working SPED for Colorado Springs School District 11 always assisting and advocating for the students.  Love is what drives us. Patience and respect is what guides us.
